Silverlight Tools Beta 2 has been updated to support Visual Studio 2008 and Visual Studio 2008 SP1. Visual Studio 2008 SP1 Beta is no longer supported.
WARNING: Before Installing Silverlight Tools Beta 2 it's critical that you manually uninstall KB949325 (this was installed by Silverlight Tools Beta 1)
For Windows Vista:
- Open Uninstall a Program from the Control Panel
- Click 'View installed updates' in the task bar on the left
- Remove KB949325 (it will be listed under your version of Visual Studio 2008)
- Open the Add/Remove Programs dialog from the Control Panel
- Click 'Show updates' at the top of the window
- Remove KB949325 (it will be listed under your version of Visual Studio 2008)
This package is an add-on to provide tooling for Microsoft Silverlight 2 Beta 2. It can be installed either on top of Visual Studio 2008 RTM or Visual Studio 2008 SP1, and it provides a Silverlight project system for developing Silverlight applications using C# or Visual Basic.
